About Me

My name is Larry Smitton, and I’m a tech junkie! Originally from Lafayette, Indiana, I moved to Indianapolis right after college, where I was lucky enough to land a job as a mechanical engineer. At an early age, I knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up, drawing inspiration from my favorite TV programs, such as Bill Nye the Science Guy, Mr. Wizard’s World and Discovery Kids, as well as my monthly subscription of Discovery Kids magazine – stuff that made it fun to be a geek in the 90s.

Obviously, I have this fascination for science and the latest technological advances. I love learning about how things work and how things get built, how physics and chemistry (which are my favorite subjects in school, by the way) are applied in the real world. I find these interesting because the possibilities are endless, and you get to discover something new and different everyday. With this blog, I plan to share with you just that – some curious information into the world of science and the latest innovations I find most riveting.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you learned a thing or two from my blog.
